Why choose Architectural Concrete?
~ Choose concrete because it is as unique as you are.
~ Choose concrete for its warmth and customizability.
~ Choose concrete because it tells your story and fits exactly who you are.
~ Choose it because you don't want to settle for something generic, that really doesn't match your design.
Do Concrete Counters crack or stain?
With the proper mix design, curing, and sealer your new counter should not crack or stain. We believe in our ability to build quality concrete strongly enough that we offer a 2 year warranty against structural cracking. Some clients choose not to seal their concrete, which can stain if left unsealed. The choice will be yours.
Are your Concrete Counters "Greener" than other countertop choices?
We believe it is! We can create your counter or integral concrete sink using all post consumer aggregates and glass. We reduce the amount of cement in our mix design by replacing a portion of it with a recycled material called VCAS. Not only does it reduce the cement content, but makes the concrete stronger. We also reduce the use of Fossil Fuels by sourcing the majority of our materials locally vs. other countertop materials that may have been shipped all the way from China or India.
How does Architectural Concrete compare to other Countertop materials?
It doesn't!!! There is no other countertop material as unique and customizable as concrete. Once you have it in your house, we are sure you will agree.
In what applications can I use Architectural Concrete?
The customizability of concrete allows it to work in every room of your house. From the fantastic Concrete Counters in your kitchen, to the integral sink in your bathroom Newstone's concrete will fit your design. We can even form custom concrete shower walls engraved with a colorful mural
that matches the tub you had us design. The uses and applications are pretty much limited to your imagination.
How does the process typically work?
1) We work together with you and your Designer
to pick a color and design.
2) We then sign a work contract and you place a deposit to get the job started.
3) Then we come and template the job so everything fits perfectly.
4) Next we create the forms for your job and create your unique piece of art.
5) Last we install your job and you pay us.
What Colors and Shapes are possible?
This is what truly sets Concrete Counters apart from the rest. If there is a certain shade of blue that matches your great-grandmothers antique vase, then we can match it. If you want your counters to appear to be 4 inches thick, we can do that also. We've found the toughest thing for clients to do is to make up their minds, because there are so many exciting choices that can be made!
